Our retail division, Dream Weddings Studios is a Photography boutique for discriminating clients that desire the finest Contemporary or Classical Portrait images or Wedding coverage and products on that Special Day. StarrShots Studios staff has an extensive creative background utilizing the industries best talents needed for the project and a 50 year award winning performance record. The company name StarrShots Studios evolved thru the Entertainment – Public Relations services provided by company President, Garvin Smith. The stylized photos acquired the nickname “Star Shots” in the early 70’s. This name had also been used for years to describe Hollywood celebrity PR photos put out by the Studios to the public. Mr. Smiths Business clients stated that they looked like Movie Stars in the photos. In the mid 90’s the nickname was applied to a studio product line sold to Actors and Models. When all the business divisions were reorganized under the parent company, it was decided to use StarShots for the commercial production division. It was decided in 2001 that a web presence was needed, but the name StarShots was taken. An “R” was added to Star creating the name StarrShots.
